The Internet Home Of The Memphis Street Rods
Memphis Street Rods was formed in 1968 by a group of young men who were dedicated to cars and car events. While most men of their age were into the Beatles (The Band) and war protests, the Memphis Street Rods' members were totally dedicated to hot rods. Today their position has somewhat softened to the Beatles (The Band), but they are still into rods and rodding events. Memphis Street Rods has been involved with NSRA since its inception and has the distinction of being the only street rod club to work every NSRA Street Rod Nationals. We now have third generation rodders who are members of the club. The Memphis Street Rods take pride in having members from all walks of life. If you're in Memphis look us up in the NSRA Fellow Pages and give one of us a call.
The 2010 Memphis Street Rods Annual Shrimp Boil and BBQ fest was a great success. In attendance were around 200 members, wives and invited guest. Again this year the event was held at George Poteet's Holly Springs car ranch. The weather was as close to perfect as one could ask. To view pictures of the event click here. A big thanks to Steve Hansen for sharing his photos.
We are pleased to announce that DRC 13 will again be hosted at Sams Town Tunica.

We have attempted to do the work for you by contacting area motels to arrange for additional rooms. These motels have expressed a desire to have you and your car stay with them and all have offered a discounted rate. Tell them you are attending the Delta River Crusin' (car show) for your reduced rate. Room availability is limited, prices are subject to change and out of the control of Memphis Street Rods and The Delta River Crusin' Show. Additionally, there are many more options available to you in the Tunica area.
